President 
The president will preside over council meetings, help set the agenda with the director, and deliver a monthly update to the choir via YouTube. The president may have no less than a B average in all classes and must have straight As in conduct. She/he must be an eighth grade member of Chorale. The president's vote will be the tiebreaker during meetings. 

Vice President (Male & Female)
The vice presidents will assume the duties of the president in his/her absence and assist with the delivery of the monthly update to the choir. At certain times throughout the year, the vice presidents will also be responsible for helping the director assign/collect choir uniform pieces, organize costumes, and handle various wardrobe necessities. The vice presidents must be members of Chorale, must maintain a B average or better in all classes, and must have straight As in conduct. 

Treasurer
The treasurer will be responsible for signing all financial documents for expenditures from the student activity account and will read an updated financial report at each meeting. The treasurer will also meet with the director to set a budget for all social activities and ensure that the council remains within the set budget. The treasurer must be a seventh or eighth grade student in any choral ensemble, must maintain a B average or better in all classes, and must have straight As in conduct.

Secretary
The secretary will be responsible for taking notes during choir council meetings and updating the classroom calendar. He/she must be organized and responsible. The secretary is also responsible for reminding council members about upcoming meetings. The secretary must be a seventh or eighth grader in any choral ensemble, must maintain a B average or better in all classes, and must have straight As in conduct. 

Historian
The historian will take and collect pictures of all major choir events. He/she will manage publicity and social media, including but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, hashtag campaigns, flyers, posters, announcements, etc. The historian will preside over the scrapbook committee. 

Class Representatives 
Bella Voce and each Cantare class period will elect a representative to sit on the choir council. Representatives are responsible for serving as a liaison between the council and their respective classes. Representatives will read announcements in class and will serve on one of the following standing committees: Social (Events), Library, Publicity, or Scrapbook. Lists will be posted during choir for other members of the choir to sign up for committees. Class representatives must pass all of their classes and maintain straight As in conduct. 

Meetings
The choir council will meet bi-weekly at a mutually agreeable time.
